WHY VOTE FOR PAT BUCHANAN?
Date: January 6, 2000
To: The Internet Brigade
Dear Pat, Brigade, Linda,
Why would anyone want to vote for Pat Buchanan?
This is a man that for the last decade or more has not changed his views. He
has maybe altered them but he has remained true to his convictions. Which is far more then we have had in the past 12 years. What are those convictions? America is the best damned Country, containing some of the most extraordinary and talented people on this planet. This is a Country that for the most part has treated its "global" neighbors with compassion, and faith. Even though we have been treated with the utmost disdain from almost every "ally" we have had. We gave the United Nations it's plot of land in one of the most desirable areas in New York City, we have bank rolled almost, if not all of it's far flung global ideas only to be told we are "bad members" because we did not pay our dues! Here's an Idea; how about we start telling that's right, TELLING the so-called United Nations before we pony up another dollar we will be requiring that ALL nations match us dollar for dollar. Otherwise keep you harebrained globalist socialistic experiments to yourself. Pat Buchanan believes that we have been very good "Global neighbors" -- maybe too good. Frankly Globalism needs the US, we however can survive without making these sweet trade deals that slams a product made in the USA and in return receives
carte blanche to our markets with not even a paltry entrance fee. Why is it the only people that moan about tariffs are the foreign companies that have to pay them? Do we not have a market that every nation wants a part of? GOOD GOD even Iraq wants to sell us oil and would do so tomorrow if they could - as much as they despise us. This is because this is a market that has
real disposable income, this is a constant market in which the consumer is always spending, and this is a solid risk free market. This is the Saks Fifth Ave of Global Trade and our market has a price, and baby it isn't free! The time has come to reckon with an America that has a breaking point and that point is our sovereignty. Sovereignty now there's a good one, while all the countries in the world scream at us that they will protect their sovereignty, we say come in and take ours. Pat Buchanan is at the forefront demanding we protect our sovereignty. Where are all the Republicrats? Oh that's right they cannot be bothered with that, there are to many other important things to do. Things like taking away rights of the citizens, legislating cable bills, phone bills and policing the corporations in this country or at least policing the ones that don't pay the protection money (disguised as special interest money, PACs etc. Etc.) Lots of road projects to get started (who cares if they are ever finished) and oh yeah, we still have to get reelected! Lets get real the problem and it is not Pat Buchanan - it is the status quo! If Pat Buchanan was nothing to worry about then why are they spending so much time trying to discredit and dishonor him. If something was
wrong with Pat Buchanan, why on Earth did not One but Two, US President's
choose to seek him out? Nixon and Reagan could be classified as two of the more
outstanding leaders of this Century - especially when compared to the current
set of standards.
So here we have a man that stands for a United Country. Fair Trade. The
proper engagement of our military coupled with proper training. National
sovereignty. Individual's being all they can be. Controlling a government
that has gone wildly out of control. Cleaning up a confiscatory tax system.
Relief to the working person. Transferring the burden and cost of operating a government to those countries that benefit from our type of system, yet refuse to come into line with recognized standards of human rights, as well as those countries that benefit from simply having access to our market. He stands for removing the weight of government from the back of its citizens. He is a man with the foresight to see that deals we make with the devil today will condemn our children tomorrow, not that the Republicrats don't see it, they simply don't care.
I guess the best reason for not voting for Pat Buchanan is it would upset the
bullies in the playground and for once they would have their feet held to the
fire and that would upset the "status quo" and we would NEVER want to do that!
