Big Business Sellout of Freedom

Below is an excerpt from a letter about the kind of liberty supressing
nonsense you support and therefore must agree with...
"The chairmen of the "Commission on Presidential Debates" (CPD), one a
former head of the Republican National Committee and a million-dollar a
year lobbyist for the gambling industry, the other a former chairman of
the Democrat National Committee, announced their decision to restrict
access to this fall's presidential debates - to candidate who pass a high
threshold of support in five national polls".
I strongly reject the arrogant notion that you, or anyone else has a right
to support or decide the participation in Presidential debates based on
POLLS. That is nonsense and I can assure you that your company will not
get another dime of my money if you sponsor those debates under such
ridiculous terms and conditions.
This looks bad for Anheuser-Busch. Once again, big business helping to
sell out another one of our freedoms at the hands of special interest. You
would do well to remember where your money comes from. Take note also that
only the Republican candidate that was leading in the polls, (Bush),
supported keeping this idiotic ruling by the CPD. America is finally
growing tired of a bunch of old spin-meisters in suits slowly dissolving
our freedoms. We will meet you at the voting booth and at the check out
counter to put a stop to this.
Do you really want to back this unpopular effort? If in fact you do
sponsor this, I am done with your products, your theme parks and
everything else you are associated with.

more!!!
