Our Boycott of Anheuser-Busch
Note: What follows is the original letter to Anheuser-Busch, their response, and a follow-up letter.

I am writing you to make you all aware that I, like
thousands of other concerned patriots, are boycotting
your products. I personally have been boycotting your products for two
months, and will continue to do so for as long as you are
sponsoring a Presidential Debate that is purposely trying to keep out a viable
Political Party. The party is the Reform Party. I
believe the Presidential Debate Commission's actions to enact rules that show
a blatant disregard for democracy and the principles
of the United States is an extreme injustice. Your excuse that you have no
part in the decision making process of the Debate
Commission does not pass muster with me. That is not relevant. Doing the
right thing or the wrong thing is relevant.
Anheuser-Busch is currently doing the wrong thing. The American people
deserve a choice in choosing their elected officials.
We currently do not have a choice. I strongly urge you to cease your
sponsorship of an un-democratic Presidential Debate.
Sincerely,

Good Morning Brendan,
Thanks for contacting Anheuser-Busch. Although Anheuser-Busch is proud to
a
national sponsor of the four presidential debates, Anheuser-Busch had no
role in
determining any aspect of how the debates will take place.
All issues involving the presidential debates are determined by the
non-partisan
Commission on Presidential Debates, which organizes and runs the
debates.
Any
questions about the debates should be directed to them. Their phone
number
is
202-872-1020.

Thanks for your reply,
However you seem to have missed my point. As stated
in my first e-mail
your "excuse that you have no part in the decision making process.." is
"not
relevant".
The message I am trying to convey to you is that you should NOT be proud
to
be a national
sponsor of the four Presidential debates. For you to state that the
Debate
Commission is
"non-partisan" is comparable to Bill Clinton telling me he is faithful
to
his wife. I realize
that your response is a formatted one, and this type of false interest
in
what I and thousands
of others feel is very insulting. You are simply advocating the
establishment strangle hold
on our elections. You should be embarrassed for not supporting freedom
and
democratic principles.
Sincerely,
