Letter to Ross Perot Supporting Pat Buchanan
Date: February 22, 2000
To: Ross Perot
Dear Mr. Perot:
I am writing to you in support of Pat Buchanan for President. I
believe Mr .Buchanan to be an honest, moral man with nothing but the best
intentions to do the best he can for the American people. Since 1990 my
husband has lost 2 jobs due to US trade policies. His first job was lost
as a result of the Carribean Basin Initiative. In may of this year he
will lose his job to NAFTA. My husband is 59 years old. Does anyone care
about how hard it is for someone his age to find a decent job?
Of all the candidates for president, Mr Buchanan has been the only one to
vow to lead the fight to abolish NAFTA and advocate fair trade rather
than free trade. He understands that we cannot continue to lose American
jobs to Mexico.
It is heart wrenching to watch honest hard working people lose their
jobs day after day, due to the greed of corporate America. I am sick to
death of hearing how good NAFTA is for the American people. How can
stealing the livelihood from the American worker be good for them. How
can a man or woman support their family on unemployment. The American
people need help & I believe Mr. Buchanan is the man to give them that
help. Respectfully Yours,
