Dear Linda,
He's the son of a different clan, but he's Scotch-Irish to the bone and a true American, so I think he's as close to a modern day William Wallace as we're ever going to get. Of course, I'm talking about Pat Buchanan. Thanks to Pat's courage in abandoning a Republican Party that no longer even pretends to represent him or us, here's what we could see sometime in January, 2001 -- and all it will take is a Golden 35% of the electorate voting for Pat:
The President of the United States, Patrick J. Buchanan!!!
It will happen, if WE MAKE IT HAPPEN!! So, let us join together and fight to win back OUR FREEDOM!!!
-- Mark Erwin - Lawrence, Kansas

Dear Pat,
My wife and I are Cuban born Americans, we met you in Miami at the
stop you made at the airport in 1992. We voted for you then and in 1996. We think you need to go on your own, drop the GOP the way they dropped you and the rest of us in 1996. GO PAT GO!
-- Mr. & Mrs. Jorge Espinosa - Miami, FL

Dear Linda,
When I went to college in the mid-90s, I was part of a tiny but vocal band of conservatives at a liberal university. Recently one of my friends from school, came for his first visit to DC. Guess what site out of all the ones in DC that he wanted to visit? The House Pat grew up in! So we looked it up in his book -- Right from the Beginning -- and we went out in NW DC and took our pictures in front of Pat's old homestead. How about that, Linda? Despite all the media claims that Pat is somehow out of touch with the 90s, I think this story is an example of how he has touched the hearts of every generation.
-- Erin Metzinger - Washington, D.C.

Dear Pat,
Keep your head up, keep pounding the pavement, keep speaking out, keep talking on TV, keep meeting people and shaking hands, and keep on standing on what you believe in. We're out here, the original Reagan era conservative Republicans, and we are supporting you. We are spreading the word to our family and friends. We are listening to you with great intent when you speak on TV. And we're reading/sending your Internet newsletter to our co-workers, friends and supporters. Go Pat Go!
-- Steven A. Knight - Evansville, Indiana

Dear Pat,
If you have the courage to leave the GOP and its corrupted leadership, I will add your name to my list of heroes. Don't let the coming tirades of Limbaugh and the rest of the entrenched leadership that have sacrificed principle for cowardice deter you. Our country is in deep trouble and principled integrity is our only hope. I am with you Pat. God Bless you.
-- Richard Cope - Assembler - New Waterford , Ohio

Dear Linda,
Isn't it amazing, all of the establishment Republican talking heads accusing Presidential candidate Pat Buchanan of not being loyal to his party. The contract with America crumbled because narrow-minded Republicans forgot where they came from and would not stand up to Pres. Clinton and his administrations manipulation, omission and lies, not to mention obstruction of justice. Those who criticize Mr. Buchanan will have to take a long hard look in the mirror when the core of Republicanism (Buchanan Brigade), follows Pat to the Reform Party. No cause can remain standing without a firm foundation, and the Buchanan
Brigade is the foundation on which the Republican Party stands. We have example after example where the establishment has failed to remain loyal to the party - they cower at the site of a Clintonite. They have no backbone at all and it is themselves that prove this to be true. Well Pat, we are with you no matter what decision you decide to make. You can count on three more votes here and donations will be ASAP - GOPATGO 2000!
-- Joseph and Maxine Cheek - Irene Pfeferstein - Center Conway, NH

Dear Pat,
I think you should run for the Reform Party nomination. The country is ripe for a new conservative party. I agree that there is no difference between Al Gore and George Bush on the major issues. Go Pat Go!
-- James Render - Computer Consultant - Pontiac, MI

Dear Linda,
Please have your network pray for my Dad, he is on full life support after surgery for a torn aorta. His name is Bruce Bradway, Thank you,
-- Eric Bradway

Dear Pat,
Run, run, run. Bolt the convoluted Republican Party. I used to be a party chairman but I haven't voted for a GOP president since Bush's first term.
-- Roland Pratt - Retired - Destin, FL

Dear Pat,
I truly believe that you represent the last great hope this country has to recover from this dark period of cultural decadence and third world economic status. The so-called "free trade" pacts that were signed into law and implemented by this president and started by his predecessor have absolutely ruined this country economically. Whatever you decide to do in terms of the Reform Party, please know that we are with you all the way. GO PAT GO!
-- Rick Renaldi - Pittsburgh, PA

Dear Linda,
Please tell Pat to stay, work with Forbes & Bauer, and not cause the election of Gore.
-- Mike Mahn - Chattanooga, TN

Dear Pat,
I am an independent conservative voter. My main reason for supporting Mr. Buchanan is his pro-life platform. I have educated my family and friends as to the candidates' positions on abortion. My husband is French and pro-life (this is a rarity). He does not have the opportunity to vote for a pro-life candidate in France, as all of the candidates in France are pro-choice. I have convinced my family and friends that we need to vote for a pro-life candidate, Mr. Buchanan, while we still have the ability to do so. Mr. Buchanan, thank you for giving me a choice!
-- Julie - Kalamazoo, MI

Dear Pat,
I'm voting for you and if there is anything I can do here in Ohio I'm willing to help. I believe you stand a chance just from the way you have everyone talking and pulling out the scare tactics. We are into our 2nd year of home schooling. I can only hope to raise and educate our children to be as wholesome and intelligent as you. You are an inspiration and our hope for a future America that I will be proud to pass on to my kids. You just have to win!
-- Missy Phillabaum - Coshocton, OH

Dear Pat,
Has Pat ever thought about putting together a "Prayer and Fasting" Brigade? From now until Nov 2000 (if we get enough volunteers working in shifts) we could have 24 hours a day of fasting and prayer, asking the Lord to forgive the sins of this land and to use Pat to lead America back to Him. 2 CHR. 7:14 God Bless!
-- Lance R. Burke - Eglin AFB, FL

Dear Linda,
The question in DC now is -- which side's causes will get more of the taxpayers money? Not IF the government will expand it's role, but WHO will do the expanding. I understand Pat's disgust. He is not a "player." That's why the parties consider him dangerous -- he's honest. I respect the man a great deal.
-- Vince Macri - South Bend, IN

Dear Linda,
Thanks for your great work for Pat's Brigades -- he is indeed our "Braveheart" Thanks also for sharing the Lord's message today--we enjoyed them! Godspeed and Hi to Pat, Shelly and Bay!
-- Robert Ready - Crestline, CA

Dear Pat,
This message is the reason why I am thinking of bolting the Republican Party. It is hard to compromise anymore. My husband wants to support money and prestige (Steve Forbes), but sooner or later, that thread runs out. What about the values of our country? Who stands for those any more? Go Pat. Go third party. Many like myself will follow you. We risk much to do it. But, that is the mark of a true leader. Braveheart did it, and won the hearts of all Scotland for all time. You have been ordained by our Lord and his Mother to do the same for America. Go Pat. You will rewrite American History for generations to come. Pray Pat, Pray! It's time for a real change, not just political, but spiritual as well. Stand Pat, Stand. Put your shoulders back and your chest forward and shout the truth!!
-- Barb Rickman - Glen Allen, VA

Dear Linda,
I guess the Republicrats didn't take Pat seriously enough. Pat is right. The Party doesn't follow its own platform, and Pat needs to leave the Party that has tried to hold him back for years. His own party wouldn't even let him speak at the last convention. He owes them NOTHING. They have declared war on him and his supporters! GO PAT GO!
-- Mark A. Smith - Michigan

Dear Linda,
I could never vote for Pat because of the social agenda he and his new right/religious right colleagues would like to impose. However, I saw Pat interviewed a couple of days ago on MSNBC and he said something I agreed with. When questioned about why he'd harm the GOP by defecting to another party and that doing so might actually increase Gore's chances of winning, he said something to the effect that the interviewer was making the assumption that the GOP was entitled to those votes. Buchanan said that they weren't, they were the votes of the American people, to do with as they wished. That's something that needs to be remembered, so I'm glad he made that point for millions to hear.
-- Lynda von Husen - Palmdale, CA

Dear Linda,
I voted for Pat in the last GOP primary in CT (was overseas in '92), but Ross Perot in each of the last two general elections. It was clear to me by '92 that the GOP was not to be reformed from within, though I admire Pat for trying. So I am a Reform Party member who is thrilled that Pat and the Brigades may join us and make the Reform Party the true national party for the American people and, God willing, put Pat in the White House. We will welcome the Brigades and super-patriot Pat Buchanan to the party founded out of love for his country and countrymen by super-patriot Ross Perot. Together, let's ride to the sound of the guns and take our country back! (Let me add my congratulations and thanks for what a splendid job you do with the website!)
-- Chris Glockler - Darien, CT
