Pat knows the history of our country, our foreign policy, and what direction we Americans should take in the 21st century, better than any scholar I have studied --- and certainly more than George W. Bush, Sen. McCain, Elizabeth Dole and other feeble-minded politicians (and pundits) who are now maliciously lambasting him in the media...Most importantly, I am thankful that Pat has once again brought me full circle in realizing how important it is to put "America First." I only wish Pat's book could be required reading for all college students now studying international affairs and foreign policy --- from George Washington and Georgetown, to Harvard and Yale. There desperately needs to be a real intellectual revolution today on college campuses which culminates in one patriotic slogan: "Go, Pat, go!"

I heard Rush Limbaugh on the Paula Zahn show on the Fox News Monday night. He repeated his charge that Pat is not a conservative because he wants to "enlarge" the powers of the Federal Government by regulating trade. Yet, Article I.8.3 of the Constitution clearly states that the Federal Government has to power "to regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states..." This clearly shows Limbaugh is conducting a smear campaign against Pat. Since it clearly states that one of the legitimate powers of the Federal Government is regulating trade, there is nothing inconsistent with a conservative supporting tariffs and other measures regulating commerce. I won't go into how NAFTA and GATT (Both of which Limbaugh supports) actually expands the powers of the Federal Government. It is this type of dishonesty by the Republican establishment that is alienating millions of Americans and building support for a new party.

I was surprised to see how conservative media people jumped on the liberal bandwagon by distorting Pat's comments on W.W.II. Conservative media pundits including Rush Limbaugh and others missed the mark by going off subject and focusing on the negative outcomes of WW II instead of the decades of events leading up to the war itself.
Conservatives have always criticized liberals for trying to eliminate negative consequences of bad decisions through government policy without looking at the root cause. However, in Pat's case they joined the liberals. The issue is not about what ultimately happened but what caused it and what could have been done to possibly prevent it…
We, the loyal brigade members need to realize the ploys the media uses to twist Pat's words to discredit him. We shouldn't be afraid of what the media is saying about Pat's statements. Animals attack when they feel threatened and the Establishment knows they're threatened. Go Pat Go!!

Rally round the flag boys and girls! Bush, Gore, Dole, Forbes, Bradley, et al are rallying around the flag but it's the wrong flag. Their flag belongs to 'a global authority' that will destroy the sovereignty of the U.S.
