Dear Fellow Pro-life Republicans,
It is long past time for groups like Republicans for Life to endorse Pat Buchanan for President. Both George W.Bush and John (the pain) McCain are walking away from the unborn both in their pronouncements and actions. This truly shows how politically gutless these two are. America can do better. It is time for Pro-life Republicans to run, not walk into the Buchanan camp.
       -- Robert Simon - American Citizen - Daytona Beach, FL - RobertMS@webtv.net

Dear Brigade,
        Suggestion for Buchanan campaign slogan:

Vote Buchanan Reform in November,
or your freedom you'll surrender!

-- Michael Irving - Illinois Brigade - Banking Industry - Villa Park, IL - 112013.1557@compuserve.com

Dear Buchanan Brigades,
We recently visited D.C. and the home of PJB for a Christmas Party. Let's stand tall for our America First Man! A visit to the Arlington Memorial Cemetery is a worthy reminder of why we must fight to keep my little 4 year old son's generation free and independent. NEVER SURRENDER! ON TO VICTORY! GOPATGO!

Dear Linda,
Thanks for your support, Linda. You may also wish to provide to your list the URL to the Web version of the subject piece:

http://www.truthinmedia.org/Bulletins99/tim99-12-6.html

First, because it has some dramatic images. Second, because this is how it ends:

"...The next century will inevitably become a multipolar world, just as France's Chirac predicted. And just as the early 20th century turned out to be. The only question is, will it happen after another world war? Or by peaceful means?

Americans who prefer the latter, should renounce all establishment parties' presidential candidates - Republicans or Democrats. And throw their support behind the only candidate who is fighting to win back our Constitution and our birth rights, such as life, liberty and pursuit of happiness - Pat Buchanan. We did.

In a TiM GW Bulletin, "Buchanan Jumps the GOP Ship," filed from Australia in late October - http://www.truthinmedia.org/Bulletins99/tim99-10-3.html - this writer said:

"On this day, Wednesday, Oct. 27, 1999, this proud American is publicly resigning his party membership in the GOP, and declaring that as soon as he is back in the States from this 'round the world trip, he intends to complete the necessary paperwork for becoming a voting member of the Reform Party of America."

That formality is now done. And the Truth in Media editor is one of the newest members of the Reform Party. Go Pat go!"

Dear Linda,
I was yet again watching one of my favorite movies this afternoon, Braveheart, and remembered when during Pat's last run you proclaimed him our new Braveheart!

I was thinking that there are many more ironic comparisons. The crown prince reminds me of G. Dubya Bush and his father, the king of England reminds me of the experts, the leadership, perhaps President Bush, himself. There is Hamish, Steven, and the rest of the literal peasant army, storming castles behind their valiant leader. Surely, these are the Buchanan Brigades. My most favorite, and perhaps tragic, comparison is that of Robert the Bruce.

The exchanges between Robert the Bruce and his leper father remind me of a Republican sympathetic to Buchanan and the Republican Establishment. Robert the Bruce is a man with divided loyalties, desiring to support the right man, fighting both internally and with his father to not resort to the usual distasteful tatctics. Robert is bound by his loyalties and his nobility...racked by guilt at his betrayal of the man he admires for Wallace's uncompromising crusading spirit.

I only hope that like Robert the Bruce in the movie, admirers, sympathizers, and closet supporters of Buchanan can in the end help lead the charge for freedom, for Braveheart...for Patrick J. Buchanan.

"I want to believe as he does. I will never be on the wrong side again." -- Rober the Bruce, Braveheart

Dear Linda,
Just wanted to let you know I am a new Reform Party member and I have signed the pledge to support Pat and I want to know what is going with getting Gargan recalled? Respond when you can. Sincerely,
       -- Rodney Jackson - Sulphur Springs, AR - rodneyreform@aol.com

Dear Linda,
Just to let you know that I am another Reagan Democrat who just left the Republican Party with Pat. I am a skilled trades Ford worker who supports conservative ideas but is also pro union.

These last two years I have seen Ford and the UAW remove the word Christmas from cards they have sent us and from our Christmas Party for both adults and children. We have been told that we don't want to offend anyone so anything with Christmas should be removed.

The plant calendar that they hand out yearly now has the dates with "gay and lesbian coming out day" and other odd "holidays" are now included. I have questioned this and everyone says it's not us but orders from above.

My question is from where and how far above, also, how come there is no concern about offending me and the many other people with my Christian beliefs. I supported Pat the last time around and am going to go with him this time also. Go Pat!

Dear Brigade,
I just now discovered Linda's web site and it is terrific. I haven't explored all the links yet but one Letter I read from Mrs. Winters "Bye Bye Rush". It was great.

I don't know who the heck Rush thinks he is but he is downright abominable. You know if it were not for these same people who support Pat, Rush wouldn't have acquired the following he has now. He is just plain mean, but then he covers up by saying I have nothing against Pat - I like him.

I pray and hope that all of us who support truth and decency for all people in this country and the world will never give up the ship because our cause is honorable. My daughter and I have had the pleasure of meeting Pat on two occasions and I look forward to maybe hosting a fund raiser for him in the spring. God bless you all. Carmella

Dear Linda,
Have you read my book on the abortion issue? It is titled "Monologue from a Doomed Fetus in Utero", published at Vantage Press, 516 West 34th St., New York,N.Y. 10001. It is the fetus who takes its own defense since nobody wants to do it.

Dear Brigade,
Seems Pat is taking a few days off for the holidays but I will check out this web site every day just to make sure I don't miss anything interesting!
-- Joe Layton - Alabama Brigade - Machinist - Elba, AL

Dear Brigade,
I think that the problem with the Republicans is that they are so worried about winning that they are unable to see that it is more important to stand up for principle than to bow down to the New World Order. Republicans have become pathetic!
-- Bill Ottaway - Project Engineer - Flowery Branch, GA

Dear All,
Get on the web. Go to Capitol Hill Blue. Why do 1,600 Federal Judges, Magistrates, and retirees of the same, not have to reveal a Personal Financial Disclosure per a committee of their own? Interesting, huh?
-- Gary Harding - Retired - Pasadena, TX

Dear Brigades,
My first 2 wheel bike was a Huffy. I got it for Christmas when I was 12 years old. I am 46 years old today, and I STILL HAVE AND RIDE THAT GRAND OLD HUFFY BIKE!!!!

My wife has made fun of me for riding it, so has my son and even my daughter, but I am not deterred! Sure, it has and shows it's wear after all these years, but I still love and cherish this old bike!

I still love that old "Made in America" bike, and I again plan to ride it next year as well! So sorry to hear of the loss of the Huffy Bikes, Made here, in America!
-- Kenneth Lowndes - Lowndes for Congress - Reform! - Grand Rapids, Ada, MI - NoMonarchy@aol.com

Dear Brigade,
In regards to the Huffy plant closing in Missouri: I live near Celina, Ohio where Huffy closed another plant about 2-3 years ago and moved its operations to China, Mexico, and some to Farmington. Celina was devastated -- when will we learn?

The worst part is that I forwarded Linda's email to a friend of mine that is a MBA grad and a ardent "free-trader" (I put this in quotes because there really exists no where in the world, or ever has, "free trade". I classify a "free-trader" the same as an "utopianist"). His reply:

"Simple solution: Find something a little more ambitious than building bicycles. Happy Holidays, you losers! The help wanted ads are best on Sundays. The Grinch"

These "free-traders" are not only blind but they are stupid, and cruel!
       -- Kevin Daberkow - Self-Employed - New Bremen, OH - daber@bright.net

Dear Linda and Everyone!,
Pat Buchanan is the ONLY candidate that can make the Reform Party a force to contend with against the Republi-crats and the Demo-cans (they're both so alike, it's hard to tell them apart). Pat will bring our jobs (high tech and otherwise) home to America where they belong.

As a degreed computer and electronics professional who has lost two jobs in five years due to NAFTA, you better believe that's important to me, and to the thousands (maybe millions?) of others in the same situation as I am.

One must ask: Is Donald Trump really interested in becoming President, or does he merely want to sabotage Pat's chances? I believe it's the latter. How about Warren Beatty - does he really think he is Presidential material, or does he too want to deny Pat the opportunity to become President? Pat will clean up America, and that means the "Hollywood" left loses (while the country gains).

It's a no-brainer; Pat Buchanan is the ONLY viable candidate the Reform Party has, and he's the best chance this country has to regain all that it has lost since Reagan left office. I support Pat Buchanan 100%. Go Pat Go - all the way in 2000! Sincerely yours, Chris S. Knapp. Deep in the heart of "enemy" (Bush) territory, Houston, Texas.
-- Chris Knapp - Unemployed Computer/Electronics Engineer - Cypress, TX

Dear Georgia Brigade,
To get Pat on the ballot in Georgia we must first change the law in GA. Go to http://www.voterchoice.org    and get involved with changing the election laws of Georgia to make it easier to get Pat on the ballot. And call your state legislators TODAY! for the upcoming January session and ask them to support easier ballot access for third parties HB 672
       -- Johnny Plunkett - Attorney - Smyrna, GA - videoranger@juno.com

Dear Linda and the Brigade ,
After watching the debates I can't help but feel that Dumyer is an idiot. He acts like a high school boy at a pep rally. Saw this on a BB and had to send it along to you:

Clinton was in Seattle addressing the World Trade Organization. On that subject, the press asked George W. Bush what he thought of the WTO and he said   "I don't follow wrestling."
