BUCHANAN DECRIES
'DECONSTRUCTION OF AMERICA'
Calls Ohio Decision 'Judicial Outrage'
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - Today, Presidential candidate Patrick J. Buchanan released the following statement:
"The Federal Appellate Court decision yesterday - ordering the state of Ohio to abandon its motto, 'With God All Things Are Possible' - is yet another predictable judicial outrage in the ongoing deconstruction of the America we grew up in.
"Goaded by the ACLU, the Federal Court, a creation of the Congress, has usurped the rights of the states that created the Constitution and trampled on the First Amendment guarantee of the free expression of religious beliefs.
"Systematically, the anti-Christian bias of a tiny minority of Americans is being imposed on the great majority. The people of Ohio should stand up and assert their rights. With God all things are possible, including a revival of congressional courage to impose constitutional restrictions on all federal courts."
