BUCHANAN FILES FOR BALLOT ACCESS IN NORTH CAROLINA AND WYOMING
RALEIGH, NC - Today, the
Buchanan Reform campaign
will submit to North Carolina's
State Board of Elections more
than the required number of
signatures to get the Reform
Party on the November ballot.
The state's County Boards of
Election have already certified
61,108 of the over 89,000
signatures submitted by the
Buchanan campaign - nearly
10,000 more than the state's
stringent ballot access laws
require.
At a press conference at the
Board of Elections, Reform
candidate Patrick J. Buchanan
said, "The Beltway duopoly is
entering its final days. This fall,
we will be on the ballot in all 50
states, positioned to topple the
Establishment that has for too
long deprived the American
people of a real choice of
destinies for our republic."
CHEYENNE, WY -- Today,
the Buchanan Reform
campaign filed 6,900 signatures
- twice the number required to
get the Reform Party on the
ballot in Wyoming. This filing,
along with previous
submissions in Texas, North
Carolina and Oklahoma - three
states with notoriously
stringent requirements - signals
that the Buchanan campaign is
gaining momentum in its ballot
access drive.
"Our campaign workers who
gathered signatures for the
Reform Party in Wyoming put
forth an outstanding effort,"
Mr. Buchanan said. "They have
kept the Party right on track to
challenge the two-party
monopoly in all 50 states - so
all Americans will have a real
choice come November."
