REPRESENTATIVE CORMACK ENDORSES BUCHANAN
DES MOINES, IA -- Representative Mike Cormack (R-Fort Dodge) today
endorsed Pat Buchanan for President and agreed to serve as Chairman of
Buchanan's Iowa Steering Committee.
"Mike is an invaluable addition to our team. I am honored to have his
support and welcome him to the growing number who are joining the Buchanan
campaign," said Buchanan.
"Pat Buchanan has been an eloquent voice for the elderly, the farmers,
small business owners, the working men and women of this country who have
seen their path to the middle class destroyed because of a trade policy
that puts America last," said Cormack. "Our Country needs Pat Buchanan's
vision, his integrity, his independence."
"Pat has a tremendous amount of grassroots support and I look forward to
helping him in the long march toward the Iowa caucuses," said Cormack.
Cormack is serving his third term in the House of Representatives. He is
Chairman of the House Ethics Committee, a state leader in the effort to
make English the official language of Iowa and a proponent of tax cuts and
term limits. He is the first Republican to represent Fort Dodge in the
House in 42 years and has twice been reelected in a heavily democratic
district with over 60% of the vote.
