Prayer for the
United States of America
Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ, I lift the United States of
America up to You, and I stand in the gap for her before You. I repent for
the willingness of our leaders to see her fall. I repent for us, her
citizens, for not having been vigilant to guard the gift You gave us. In
the name of Jesus Christ, I call those sins my own, I bring them to the
cross, and I ask You to remove them from me and from this land. According
to Your Word, I speak this word over the United States of America:
Lord, I have heard of Your fame; I stand in awe of Your deeds, O Lord.
Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember
mercy.
Then the word of the Lord came to me: "If at any time I announce that a
nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that
nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on
it the disaster I had planned. And whoever shall call on the name of the
Lord shall be delivered and saved. So do not fear, for I am with you; do
not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I
will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
"Instead of the tyranny of the present I will appoint peace as your
officers and righteousness as your taskmasters. Violence shall no more be
heard in your land, nor devastation or destruction within your borders, but
you shall call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise. Your people
also shall all be uncompromisingly and consistently righteous; they shall
possess the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands,
that I may be glorified. And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they
shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the
devastations of many generations.
"Instead of your former shame you shall have a twofold recompense; instead
of dishonor and reproach your people shall rejoice in their portion.
Therefore in their land they shall possess double what they had forfeited;
everlasting joy shall be theirs. For I the Lord love justice; I hate
robbery and wrong with violence or a burnt offering. And I will faithfully
give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting
covenant or league with them. And you shall know, understand and realize
that I am in the midst of [you] and that I the Lord am your God and there
is none else. My people shall never be put to shame."
Listen, O heavens, and I will speak; hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.
I WILL PROCLAIM THE NAME OF THE LORD. Oh, praise the greatness of our God!
He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A
faithful God Who does no wrong, upright and just is He.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I loose this nation from every assignment of
Satan set against her. And in His name, I bind Your promises to her.
Thank You for your healing work in this land, precious Lord. Amen.

One chases a thousand and two put ten thousand to flight (Deuteronomy 32:30).
As for a believer's authority to stand in the gap for his or her nation,
God is LOOKING for men and women who will stand in the gap before Him for
the land (Ezekiel 22:30). Moses (Exodus 32:11), Esther (Esther 7:3), and
Daniel (Daniel 9:20) all did! Their actions SINGLEHANDEDLY brought God's
intervention on the scene. As believers in Jesus Christ, we operate in HIS
authority, which is so great the sins of the WORLD can be nullified when
they are dealt with through His finished work on the cross (John 3:17;
Colossians 1:20; 2:13, 14).
According to this foundation, speak the "Prayer for the United States of
America" daily. When we speak in agreement with God's Word, we've set
ourselves in agreement with God Himself, and our prayers put ten thousand
to flight. It multiplies exponentially from there. When you and a prayer
partner pray in agreement with His Word, that puts a million to flight. No
wonder Satan hates prayer, and especially Word-based prayer, and ESPECIALLY
THE PRAYER OF AGREEMENT BASED ON THE WORD! As believers all over the
United States pray this prayer in agreement daily, we WILL see change in
this nation!
